"NOW I ONLY CHOOSE MIMETIKA MARINE FOR MY BOAT.

I needed to re-paint my boat, it was pretty worn by the sun and bad weather. It was already in the dry dock for other works, so it was the perfect time to renew the color; I would have like to paint it pearl grey or metal grey like my car.
In the shipyard they tried to discourage me, telling me that a “car body” effect was impossible to get. I should have chosen one of the normal pastel colors: blue, white, or grey. They could not provide that finish.
Then I discovered the wrapping technique and the 3M products, and this company suggested to me Fabio Bertelli as a certified installer.
After a first meeting, Mimetika proposed to me a rendering of how my boat would have become, they listed all the application phases and proposed different solutions with different colors, even two-tone, with gloss or matt finishes. In a short time, they did a hold test on the hull directly in the shipyard, we discussed the final choice and I chose to entrust them the work.
Soon after the boat was “wrapped”,everything went fine and the deadline has been respected, the general handling was very satisfying, I have always been followed with promptness and professionality.
The outcome is outstanding, the finish I chose, that metal grey, was really a classy touch and it gave new life to my boat.
I decided to commission Mimetika other works for the family company and today, after 4 years, our companies still collaborate.
I highly recommend Mimetika for this kind of restyling, because they are precise, attentive to my needs and I’ve liked their post-sale service. After 30 days from the launch, they inspected to verify that the wrapping application was perfect, and every now and then they call me to check if everything is ok.

We had the pleasure of having Fabio and Luciano from Mimetika assist us on board during a shipyard period. The goal was to get the marble in the guest area protected to prevent future damage and to lift the overall quality and look of the marble tops, tables and bars in these areas.

I met Fabio and Mimetika when I set up my Boutique, I needed a partner who could translate fast the wraps developed by architects into the right images and materials, and in the end, I was very satisfied with the outcome and the delivery time.
When I had to careen my Motoryacht, a Cayman 43, I also wanted to re-paint the freeboard with a new color. Fabio suggested wrapping it, and the films surprised me as for the choice of colors and possible outcomes.
In a normal painting work, this would have had unjustifiable costs and a much longer time of application. After more than 3 years, the hull is still perfect and I could also do fast restorations when I had some scratches.
I will consider soon wrapping the hull bottom too, since today the technology of these materials allows the application to the underwater hull, avoiding to disperse in the sea polluting fouling-control paints.
Fabio’s attention to the details and materials is such that now we are considering making this vintage sloop available for cruise trips too. We will consider wrapping some piece of furniture.”
